With S I S T E R R O O T S launching next week, I am celebrating with some of my favorite people in one of my favorite places, Seattle! Leaving for the airport in a couple of hours and I have to be honest, I am looking forward to clearing my mind and having a good time. No schedule, no expectations, no agenda, just exploration. Just fun and play and adventure. I am allowed to do this, I repeat, I am allowed to do this.
I've been juggling projects galore, thrilled to do so, but realizing that my blog hasn't been getting as much attention as I'd like it to and I'm missing my writing time. Every day I write in my planner to create a post and share it with you all. However, the topics I'm landing on lately need more time than what I've got and I haven't been able to make it a priority.
But if I believe in the work that I'm doing, I remember that it isn't the end of the world. That beating myself up about all the doing that's left to do, is not how to thrive in this life. There's always work to do and letting go of the list and enjoying myself seems like a good lesson to learn this weekend.
