Human beings share a deep interconnection with all life. We are born, we develop, we hurt, we laugh, we gain, we lose, we live and we die. Living with our core vulnerability, our infinitely soft center, as something to revere and to look after, grows wisdom. Choosing not to fight with reality lends us more and more compassion and a better sense of seeing ourselves and others more clearly. We can see that our lives are precious and fleeting. We can learn to let this deep living wisdom guide us each day.

“We all want to be happy. This seems to be our strongest impulse. Primarily our happiness comes from our state of mind, though we can’t deny the fact that outside circumstances play a big role. When we learn to embrace each moment of our lives, we’re empowered to let go of our emotional patterns and false beliefs about ourselves, discovering the compassion that’s been there all along.”
